“Like most people I contacted a number of agents before marketing my property for sale, both large chains and smaller locals. They all arrived with their well-rehearsed scripts, a bunch of printouts from rightmove etc., and a preconceived figure for the value of my property.
Then came Joe from Signature. No scripts, no preconceptions and absolutely no bull. He wandered around my property, listened attentively to my comments and aims, and then presented me with his thoughts. He had clearly looked at my property in a different way; he saw through the bricks and mortar and marketing. He had a clear idea of how to sell it, what type of person would buy it, and how much they would be prepared to pay for it.
Surely he must be wrong? That's more than 10% above what everyone else was saying? But there was an honesty about him; a genuine and friendly character, yet truly professional without needing to regurgitate the usual polished but meaningless marketing-speak.
His terms were so straightforward and fair that eventually I decided to let him prove himself. A magnificent set of photos followed, clearly emphasising what he saw as the main selling points, as echoed in his property description.
Would you believe it? Within 5 days there had been 2 offers at full asking price, one of which was then raised, and I took the property off the market.
After that I had very little contact with Joe and the team at Signature. There was virtually no need to. They were in control of everything and the deal completed without any serious issues.
